Debbie began working in the criminal warrant division of the Oklahoma County District Clerk’s office.  She was soon hired as the Clerk of the new family court in Oklahoma County and promoted to Bailiff.  Debbie then joined the firm of Buck, Merritt and Hoyt as receptionist but was quickly promoted to legal assistant for the workman’s compensation department. 

The Henderson family moved to Texas where Debbie began working in family law in 1980 for several family law attorneys in the Bay Area.  In 1987, Debbie began working for John Gay and administratively holds the most tenure with the firm.
